This project began in 2010. A one man project, by artist/musician Chris Buice, the original name, Sound Of 3 Nails, took on several changes ranging from instrumental music to hardcore metal to producing a full length album. "I didn't know exactly where I wanted to be musically at the time, hence, all the changes," Chris says. The release of the debut album (To He Who Suffers Most) by SO3N on November 11, 2011 broke new ground as a vision that became a reality. "The vision was to complete the full length album from start to finish from scratch right down to the recording, production, tracking, lyricism, instrumentation & vocalization," Chris notes. The album cover - a 24 hour stippling/crosshatch drawing - was completed by Buice. "I'm not a graphics guy, by any stretch of the imagination, but, I actually enjoyed coming up with an idea for the album cover. I'm sure it's not "great" but, it turned out to be eye catching, which is what I wanted to accomplish while still capturing the aesthetic of a suffering soul & a returning King."

The sophomore project, To Slay A Giant, is sure to deliver a sound all it's own. Come along for this journey. It's far from over!! ~Blessings!~
